Kate Previte is a photographer and filmmaker devoted to beautiful, refreshing images. She has worked for leading chefs of the New York City restaurant industry including Mario Batali, Mark Ladner, and Matt Abdoo, and has been the house photographer for award-winning and critically acclaimed restaurants including Del Posto, Babbo and Casa Mono, and frequently shoots for The Infatuation. Her photography has been featured in The New York Times, Tasting Table, The Infatuation, Food52, Time Out New York, Lucky Peach, and In Style, as well as in cookbooks and websites.

Kate is also an experienced video producer, DP, and editor, and has worked on projects ranging from music videos to television series to feature films. Her video series, “How-To Tuesday” (produced for Mario Batali), won a Webby Award in 2014. She specializes in micro-team production, creating digital video and styled photos from start to finish. 

She also has her certification in bareboat sailing and occasionally builds things out of wood.
